How do I create a new Klaviyo flow using Pulse events?

When creating a new flow in Klaviyo, choose a Pulse event as your trigger (like "Pulse - Added to Cart"), then use Pulse Event Properties in your email content to personalize messaging with product details, images, and pricing.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Start creating a flow in Klaviyo
If you're new to Klaviyo flows, check out Klaviyo's Getting Started with Flows guide for detailed instructions.

  2. Choose a Pulse trigger event

Select the Pulse event that matches your goal. For example, "Pulse - Item Viewed" for browse abandonment or "Pulse - Added to Cart" for cart abandonment. See: What Pulse events are available?

  3. Add Pulse Event Properties to your email
Use dynamic content to pull product images, names, prices, or variant details directly from the Pulse event. For example, an Abandoned Cart email can show exactly what's in the customer's cart.

  4. Test your flow
Use Klaviyo's preview and test functionality to make sure your emails display the right dynamic content before activating.
