What Pulse events are available in Klaviyo?

Pulse tracks 11 different customer events and sends them to Klaviyo. These events include cart actions, product views, purchases, and more. You can use these events to trigger automated email flows.

Available Pulse Events:

  • Pulse - Added to Cart (includes all items in the cart at the time)

  • Pulse - Cart Viewed

  • Pulse - Checkout Initiated

  • Pulse - Collection Viewed

  • Pulse - Identified

  • Pulse - Item Viewed

  • Pulse - Items Viewed

  • Pulse - Purchased

  • Pulse - Removed from Cart

  • Pulse - Searched

  • Pulse - Viewed Page

Important note: Not all events may appear consistently depending on your Shopify configuration and on-site tracking setup.

What can I do with these events?

You can use these events as triggers in Klaviyo flows to send automated emails based on customer behavior. For example, send an abandoned cart email when "Pulse - Added to Cart" fires, or a browse abandonment email when "Pulse - Item Viewed" fires.
