TikTok has quickly become one of the most popular social media platforms, making it a prime location for businesses to advertise. If you want to launch successful TikTok ads with Blend AI, here's a quick guide to what you need to get started.
1. Create a Business Center Account
Why It's Better: Centralized management, enhanced security, advanced insights, and collaboration for multiple ad accounts and assets.
How to Create:
1. Go to the TikTok Business Center.
2. Click Get started.
3. Follow the prompts to complete your account setup.
2. Set Up Your Advertiser Account and TikTok Pixel
Before launching ads, you’ll need to ensure you have an Advertiser Account linked to your TikTok Business Center and have created a TikTok Pixel.
How to Create:
Advertiser Account: This is essential to manage and track your campaigns.
In your Business Center, go to “Assets” > “Advertiser Accounts” > “Create Account” and follow the prompts.
TikTok Pixel: A TikTok Pixel allows you to track user behaviour on your website, measure ad performance, and optimise for conversions.
In TikTok Business Center, go to “Assets” > “Events” > “Web Events” and select “TikTok Pixel” to create and install it on your website.
3. Add a Payment Method in your Business Center
How to Add:
Note: You can only add a payment method to ad accounts owned by the Business Center, and autopay is the only payment method.
Go to the Business Center.
Select Finance and click Payment.
Select Payment management.
Find the ad account to which you want to add a payment method, then click Link payment method.
Add card information and click Submit.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to set up a Business Center:
Go to your Payment page in the TikTok Ads Manager page and add a supported Payment Method to your account, such as a credit or debit card.
4. Important: Add Balance to your TikTok account to be able to run ads.
How to Add:
Go to your Payment page and select the Summary tab.
Click Add Balance.
Enter the Total Amount you wish to add.
Select a Current Payment Method or choose a One-time payment method.
Click Make Payment and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.
5. Important: If you already have an existing advertiser account linked to your personal TikTok account, follow the steps in this article to create a Business Center and link the advertiser account to it: How to link an individual advertiser account with your Business Center.
