Finding your campaign metrics

To access your Blend ad campaign metrics, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Blend App.

  2. Click on the Campaigns menu item in the left-hand panel.
You should see something like this appear:

Once there, you'll see two types of metrics displayed:

  • Blend Metrics:
Located on the top right-hand side, these metrics provide an overview of all your ad campaigns. The data is derived from platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Shopline (depending on your store's platform).

  • Reported Metrics:
These metrics are displayed next to each individual campaign and reported directly from each advertising platform. For more detailed insights, click on the specific campaign.

Interpreting your campaign metrics

Each metric relates to the selected time period, which defaults to the last seven days. To view metrics for a different time period, click the blue button in the top right corner and choose a different date range or specify exact dates.

Here’s what each metric means:

  • Spend: The total amount of money spent on ads.

  • Clicks: The number of clicks your ads have received.

  • Orders: The number of sales generated through your ads.

  • Cost per Order: The amount spent on ads divided by the number of orders.

  • Blend Revenue: The total revenue generated directly from Blend’s ads, representing customers who clicked on the ad and made a purchase.

  • ROAS (Return on Ad Spend): Blend Revenue divided by Spend.

    • ROAS is a key performance indicator that can be used to assess your ad performance.

Important note on Blend Revenue and ROAS

The Blend Revenue and ROAS displayed in your metrics are likely understated, as some sales may not be attributed back to Blend’s ads. Common scenarios include:

  1. Delayed purchases:
Customers interact with an ad but purchase later through organic search instead of the ad link.

  2. Indirect influence:
Customers see the ad, gain interest, but purchase through another method, such as directly visiting your website.

While these sales are influenced by Blend's ads, they are not accounted for in your metrics due to attribution limitations.
