How to link Google Merchant Center and Google Ads accounts

In order for your products to be shown on Google Shopping, you will have to link your store's Google Merchant Center and Google Ads Accounts. This will provide Google Ads with the necessary product data stored in your Merchant Center to create such listings.

To link your own Google Ad account:

  1. In your Merchant Center account, click the tools icon.

  2. Click Linked accounts under settings.

  3. Click Google Ads.

  4. Under “Your Google Ads account”, enter the Google Ads customer ID of the account that you want to link. (Note: Your customer ID is displayed at the top of any Google Ads page near your email address when you are signed in).

  5. Click Link under “Actions”.

To link another Google Ad account:

  1. In your Merchant Center account, click the tools icon.

  2. Click Linked accounts under settings.

  3. Click Google Ads.

  4. Under “Other Google Ads account”', click Link account and enter the Google Ads customer ID of the account that you want to link.

  5. Click Send link request.
