If your current billing details or payment method connected to Microsoft Ads have changed or expired, you can update this information by following the steps below:
To update or change billing details:
Sign in to your Microsoft Ads account.
Select the correct account. If you manage multiple accounts, make sure the correct one is selected.
In the left-hand side menu, select the Tools icon. In the search window in the popup window that appears, search for Account and billing management. Click on Billing.
Within the Billing & Payments section, locate the Billing settings.
Review or update the billing settings. If required, update the account payable contact information:
• Email Address
• First Name
• Last Name
• Phone Number
To add a new payment method:
In the Payment Methods section, locate your currently active payment method.
Select Make Default for the newly added payment method to ensure it is used for future transactions.
Verify your changes - check that the new or updated payment method is now listed as active and default.
After completing these steps, all future payments for Microsoft Ads will utilise the updated billing information / payment method depending on whether or not you updated it.
