Connecting to Google (Manual Method)

In order for your store to run Google ads through Blend, you must connect your Google account and relevant assets with us.

Sometimes, it may be necessary to connect to your Google accounts manually.

How to manually connect Google Assets

Manually connecting your Google assets involves three main steps:

How to manually add Blend as an Admin on Google Merchant Center

  1. Click the tools icon, then select Account Access (found under the settings menu).

  2. Click the plus button.

  3. Enter the email address [email protected]

  4. Click Add user.

  5. Grant Admin access.

  6. Click Save.

How to manually connect Blend to Google Ads

To connect Blend to your Google Ads account manually:

  1. Contact your Account Manager or message us directly via Intercom (the chatbox in the bottom right corner of the Blend app).

  2. Provide your Google Ads Account ID (displayed near your email at the top of any Google Ads page when signed in).

  3. Blend will send a request to manage your account.

  4. Approve the link request following the instructions in our article: "How to Approve a Link Request in Google Ads."

If you’re unable to connect Blend manually as described above, you can follow these steps:

This method should only be used when you are unable to manually connect to Blend, using the instructions in the previous section.

  1. Click the settings icon, then select Access and Security.

  2. Click the plus button.

  3. Enter the email address [email protected].

  4. Select the Admin role.

  5. Click Send Invitation.

How to manually add Blend as an editor on Google Analytics (optional)

  1. Click the settings icon.

  2. Select Account Access Management.

  3. Click the plus button.

  4. Enter the email address [email protected].

  5. Select the Editor role.

  6. Click Add in the top-right corner.

Once manual access has been granted, please message us via Intercom (the chatbox in the Blend app) so we can verify that everything is successfully connected.
