Connect your Google account and the relevant assets to run Google Ads through Blend. This connection gives Blend access required to launch and manage your ad campaigns effectively.
To get started, you will need:
Google Ads Account
Google Merchant Center
You can also connect Google Analytics, which is optional but recommended. It provides valuable insights into your store’s performance.
How to connect your Google assets to Blend
You can connect your Google assets in two ways:
Using the Blend app during or after installation
Manually through Google
Connecting through the Blend app is the easiest way, but please make sure the Google account you are using has admin access to the correct Google Ads account and Merchant Center.
Steps to connect using the Blend app
1. Open the Channels section in the Blend App and select the Google card.
2. Click Sign in with Google.
3. Select the correct Google account. If it doesn’t appear, click use another account to log in.
4. Grant Blend the requested permissions to access and manage your Google accounts, then click continue.
5. You will return to the Blend app. Click Connect for each account under the relevant sections. If multiple accounts are shown, select the correct one for your store.
Once connected, Blend will have everything needed to launch your ads, provided your accounts have no issues.
Sometimes, Blend may need extra permissions to better manage your campaigns. If this happens, we will contact you directly with instructions for providing manual access.
Troubleshooting
If you see an error message, likely, the Google account you logged into does not have admin access for all required assets.
To resolve this:
Log into the correct Google account and manually connect Blend to the missing assets through Google, not the Blend app.
